- SIMS Lounge Presents: Sofa Sessions
Through Sunday, May 24 | at 6 p.m. | Hosted by: SIMS Foundation
May is #MentalHealthMonth. In this historical moment, with the cancellation of most paying work within our industry, coupled with the resulting anxiety and uncertainty, the need for accessible mental health and substance use recovery services and supports for the music community has never been greater. To raise mental health awareness and celebrate music’s ability to bring us together, SIMS is opening up our lounge (virtually of course) throughout the month of May! Watch at: The SIMS Foundation on FB Live, the SIMS Foundation YouTube channel or the artist’s Instagram page. Text SIMS to 44321 to donate during #SofaSessions live streams. Tips are split 50/50 between SIMS and the artists.

Art on the Lawn
Sunday, May 24 | at 11 a.m. | Hosted by: Neill-Cochran House Museum
Art on the Lawn is an all outdoors event, safely-hosted by the Neill Cochran House Museum. Seven artists will present their artwork on the lawn, which will also be available for purchase with a portion benefiting the museum. Guests are asked to RSVP so they can prepare accordingly, and to practice social distancing and wear a mask while attending the event. Guests will also be given a museum pass to come back and visit in June. Yay art!
