TuneBugz! Demo Classes (RSVP) – Wednesday, September 6 – Friday, September 8. TuneBugz! offers Music Together ® music and movement classes for early childhood (birth through 5 years old) where parents and/or caregivers also sing, dance and play along. It’s music – don’t wait – the best years for learning music are before age 7 and starting as early as possible has the longest lasting impact into adulthood. Armstrong Community Music School FREE Week (RSVP) – Wednesday, September 6 – Friday, September 8. Early Childhood Classes for ages 6 weeks – 2nd grade will be offered for FREE! Families must call 512.474.2331 to reserve a class, as space is limited. Monday – Happy Labor Day!

Free Day of Yoga – Monday, September 4 at various times and locations. Participating studios across the Austin area will offer FREE classes for Free Day of Yoga. This is a great opportunity for people of every age and fitness level to try yoga for the first time, experience a new style of yoga, visit a new studio or take a class from a new instructor, share yoga with friends and family and discover the benefits of yoga! Every year the UMLAUF Prize honors an outstanding graduate student from The University of Texas at Austin with an exhibition, lecture, and cash award. Jaelyn was born and raised in Kansas, but she got to Texas as soon as she could! After a few years of youthful fun in Dallas, Jaelyn decided to make her passion her career and headed to west Texas to make it happen. There, she honed her musical chops while studying Commercial Music, and then headed straight for Austin to help keep it weird. Once here, she unexpectedly found her soul mate, and loves that her husband and two boys are now her biggest fans! Besides being a musician, Jaelyn also works as a corporate event planner, is a self-proclaimed “celebratory expert” and a long-time foodie. She doesn’t feel complete unless she is keeping up with all the cool stuff Austin has to offer.
