Baby Bloomers – Monday, December 12 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Children age 0-3 and their families are invited to discover the beauty of winter together. Create a perfect snowperson, snow animal, or snow sculpture, whip up your own blizzard, animate your very own version of a snowy day, and more. The Austin Symphony’s Christmas in the Community: Strings – Wednesday, December 14 at 4:00 p.m. Christmas in the Community is a series of ten concerts held throughout the city of Austin featuring different ensembles of the orchestra playing familiar holiday music. Mario Kart 8 Wii U Tournament – Wednesday, December 14 at 4:00 p.m. Compete in APL’s annual winter gaming tournament. Doors open for sign-ups 30 minutes before each tournament and the first 32 people to sign up will be assured a spot. Holiday Big Sing – Thursday, December 15 at 5:30 p.m. Raise your voice with hundreds at the popular holiday Big Sing at the Blanton. Craig Hella Johnson leads each Big Sing gathering in vocal warm-ups and short, melodic songs that can be easily learned. As musical hosts, Conspirare Symphonic Choir members are among the audience to sing along and provide musical support and encouragement. Song sheets are provided. The Big Sing is open to everyone, regardless of musical training and experience. Southwest Key 8th Annual Posada – Thursday, December 15 from 6-8:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening performance of Ballet Folkloríco, Teatro, and Mariachi. Community Holiday Concert (Round Rock) – Friday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m.  This concert will feature the Round Rock Symphony Orchestra and the Round Rock Community Choir along with a 40+ Youth Choir. All your favorites from Jingle Bells to O Holy Night will be featured. Plus, Santa Claus will make a special visit sometime during the concert and hand out candy canes. FREE! First United Methodist Church Round Rock, 1004 North Mays St, Round Rock.
