Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Closed all Wednesdays. Parking is FREE. The pumpkins and gourds are individually priced. Admission is FREE, but each activity has a fee. Activities include a hayride, corn maze, and pumpkin painting just to name a few. Payment by cash or check only. (Check the website for exact directions as GPS isn’t always accurate for this location).

Celebration for the Fine Arts Library

Join the University of Texas Libraries in celebration of the recently renovated fifth floor of the Fine Arts Library (FAL). Serving as a model library for the 21st century, the FAL is a space that blurs the boundaries between classroom and stacks. New amenities encourage collaboration, democratize access to resources and tools, and enable an environment for creativity. Remarks by Executive Vice President and Provost Marie McInnis and Vice Provost and Director Lorraine J. Haricombe will begin at 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP here.

Whataburger Super Duper Celebration (Cedar Park)

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a Super Duper Celebration! In the heart of every child lives a superhero, and on Tuesday, Oct. 30, Whataburger will celebrate the superhero spirit in all of us with an evening of family fun from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Whataburger located at 670 Old San Antonio Road. Customers can spend quality time with their little heroes and treat them to a superhero-themed celebration of food, games, giveaways and a face painter. Children 12 and under dressed in a superhero costume will receive a free kid’s meal!

Family Board Game Night

Do you love playing board games? Then head to the Tuesday Family Board Game Night!Play modern and traditional family board games, including Quirkle, Battleship, Feed the Woozle, and Jenga! Test your skills with family and friends. Snacks provided. Program open to kids of all ages.

Day of the Dead Screening and Q&A
Tuesday, October 30 | at 7 p.m.  | APL – Yarborough Branch, 2200 Hancock Dr.
Learn about the Day of the Dead in Mexico City by joining us for a special screening of this documentary originally aired on German television. After the 45min (English version of the) film we will have a live Q&A with Laura Burns, one of the filmmakers. Plus there will be an opportunity to make something to add to our ofrenda (Day of the Dead altar) so you are welcome to bring a photo of those you’d like to honor.
