Spanish Circle Time

Kids ages 0-3 learn basic concepts and Spanish vocabulary through songs and play, followed by social play time. Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Halloween Homebuying Happy Hour

Nacho Average Democratic Presidential Debate Watch Party

This Democratic presidential debate watch party will be the taco the town! Join for a free nacho bar, debate bingo (with prizes!), cold beverages, and hot takes. Plus, raise money for Texas College Democrats, so they can turn out the vote on college campuses. RSVP to save your seat!

Wednesday

Dirt Divas After School Club
Wednesday, October 16 | from 4 to 6 p.m. | Camacho Activity Center, 35 Robert T Martinez Jr. Street
Dirt Divas is every Wednesday from 4-6pm at Camacho activity center. Ages 3rd- 5th grade. Dirt Divas is an outdoor recreation and environmental education program for young girl participants that emphasizes women’s leadership roles in the outdoor recreation and environmental fields. Throughout the year, the DD program will introduce the participants to a variety of outdoor activities based around a central theme for each session. The program will promote sustainable practices through low-to-no environmental impact activities. Activities will range from nature-based arts and crafts, to kayaking, archery, service learning, snorkeling, outdoor cooking, and more. All activities will be lead entirely by women staff and each session will have at least one special woman guest leader from the community. All activities are designed to foster a safe space and promote inclusiveness.

Mueller Neighborhood Tour
Wednesday, October 16 | from 5:30 to 8 p.m. | Mueller Center, 4550 Mueller Central Drive
Join Smart Trips Austin, the Congress of New Urbanism, and BIRD on a quick scooter tour of the Mueller neighborhood! On this tour, you’ll be able to test out BIRD scooters for free while learning about how the area evolved from an airport to one of Austin’s most walkable neighborhoods. Explore the new protected bikeway improvements and experience the community through the stories of people who live here.

Science, technology, engineering, art, and math projects with a creative twist for kids ages 4-12 years. Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

The Monster Squad Free Outdoor Screening

Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village. Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening. Explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks from the Community Grille. Burgers, french fries, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cards only, cash no longer accepted). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated.

Movies at Lake Park – Rescheduled
Friday, October 18 | from 7 to 9:30 p.m. | Mueller Lake Park, 4550 Mueller Boulevard

Join in October for two free, family-friendly events taking place at Mueller’s outdoor amphitheater. The October 11 movie is Beauty and the Beast (animated version).
