Tech Playground – 5 to 10 Years (Pflugerville)
Monday, July 8 | from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. | Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 W Pfluger St., Pflugerville
Spend the evening indoors working on a different project every week.  Everyone gets his or her own craft. Supplies are limited.  Free tickets for the event will be available at the Greeter Desk 30 minutes before the program start time. For families with children 5 and up.

Family Craft Night (Pflugerville)
Monday, July 8 | from 6 to 6:45 p.m. | Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 W. Pfluger St., Pflugerville

Chalk Drawing in the Courtyard (Pflugerville)
Tuesday, July 9 | from 2 to 3 p.m. | Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 W. Pfluger St., Pflugerville
Ages 5 to 12.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Let your imagination loose and create.  Chalk will be provided.  In case of rain, we will have board games in the meeting room. This is a come-and-go event.  Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the end of the event in order to participate. Refreshments will be available while supplies last. First come first served.

Summer Sunset Series
Tuesday, July 9| from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. | Republic Square, 422 Guadalupe St.
Join for Summer Sunset Series 2019, presented by Topo Chico and sponsored by Outdoor Voices, in Republic Square. An hour vinyasa flow led by a Wanderlust Yoga Austin instructor and accompanied by a live musician or DJ. We hope to build a connection through the activation of yoga, music and community. This free event will be open to the public and catered to all levels of yoga experience. Every Tuesday this summer.

If you’re looking for something cool and exciting and FREE to do with you little ones this summer, the Austin Symphony Children’s Day Art Park has you covered! After hitting the refresh button last season, we will continue to present our summer fun in our brand new exciting location! We will have all the exciting activities and musical guest as before, but in a cool (literally) setting. That’s not all! We will have three encore performances at three different locations: Gustavo “Gus” Garcia Recreation Center, Old Quarry Branch and Milwood Branch Libraries! Come join your Austin Symphony Orchestra and Master of Ceremonies, Bernadette Nason, this summer!

Unplugged at the Grove

Join Austin City Limits Radio in celebrating 26 years of ACL Radio’s Unplugged at the Grove with free live music every Thursday evening at the iconic Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road! It’s 23 consecutive weeks of the best live music, food, and fun you’ll experience under the clear, warm skies of Austin, Texas, with absolutely no cover charge! All ages are welcome to attend, and folks 21+ can enjoy $4 Ziegenbocks. The live music kicks off at 8 p.m.

Movies in the Park: Space Jam

Movies in the Park is headed to Martin Middle School Fields with a special showing of Space Jam on Thursday, July 11 at 8:45 p.m! Join the Austin Parks Foundation for a free screening of the live-action/animated family film featuring your favorite Looney Tunes Characters. Austinites are encouraged to arrive early with their blanket or lawn chairs for a fun evening under the stars. Mmmpanadas, Garbo’s Lobster Truck ATX, Casey’s New Orleans Snowballs, and The Mighty Cone food trucks will be on site

Inter/Sected And A River Across the East and West Exhibit Reception
Friday, July 12 | from 6 to 8 p.m. | Asian American Resource Center, 8401 Cameron Rd.

Photo-based artists get the spotlight at this exhibit reception featuring Austin culture creator Ben Aqua (Instagram: @b3naqua) and San Francisco artistic duo Messrs. Su. Learn from Ben about the process of capturing the essence of identity in portraits. Meet the father-son team Hsuan-Te and Pin-Chih whose intergenerational collaboration generates intriguing images. Light refreshments provided. Free and open to the public.

Georgetown’s Music in the Square Summer Concert Series
Friday, July 12 | from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. | Downtown Georgetown Square, 116 W 8th St, Georgetown

Music on the Square, a free summer concert series, returns to “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” in Georgetown, just 25 miles north of Austin. These family-friendly, live music shows run Friday nights from June through August, with the exception of June 7, July 5, and August 2. There’s music for everyone including the Wilson String Band playing country rockabilly, Megatune playing reggae & Motown, Mike Hamilton playing saxophone jazz, and Lexxi Garza performing 80’s & 90’s covers.

Aquaman Free Outdoor Screening
Friday, July 12 | from 8 to 11 p.m. | Community Cinema & Amphitheater, 9301 Hog Eye Rd

Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village. Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening. Come explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks from the Community Grille. Burgers, french fries, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cards only, cash no longer accepted). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated.
