Monday Movies Transformers Revenge of the Fallen
Monday, January 14 | at 5 p.m. | APL – Willie Mae Kirk Branch, 3101 Oak Springs Dr.
Watch and discover new films at the Austin Public Library. This week, they  will be screening Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. This is a family event, everyone is welcomed.

Pints & Poses – Benefiting Health Alliance for Austin Musicians
Monday, January 14 | at 6:30 p.m. | Hyatt Regency Austin, 208 Barton Springs Rd.
Join on Monday, January 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Texas Ballroom for a donation-based vinyasa class led by Ferny Barceló. Pints & Poses will be benefiting Health Alliance for Austin Musicians – HAAM. Credit card donations will be accepted at the time of the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats, due to the limited amount that we have available for guests. After yoga, you’ll receive a coupon for a *complimentary* local beer! Parking is complimentary when you park inside of our parking garage.

Armstrong Community Music School Storytime

Join in welcoming the wonderful Armstrong Community Music School to storytime! One of their talented Early Childhood Development faculty members will engage your young reader with music and movement. Plus, they’ll share some of their favorite books! This is a great storytime for kids ages 0-6.

Free Fitness at the Square

Jump start your fitness goals with free classes at the square! Join us for two free classes by Generator Athlete Lab, a new fitness studio in the Seaholm District, designed to make you tougher and stronger. This community workout offers a combination of Strength & HIIT training, partner drills, and exercises that will keep your heart rate up.

Lego Fun Family Night

The Tiny Tails Petting Zoo returns to BookPeople for another wild storytime, featuring the furriest, friendliest guests around! If you love bunnies, guinea pigs, hedgehogs AND awesome books, then this is the perfect way to spend your morning. Make new friends and learn all about these fascinating creatures, starting at 10:30 a.m.

Tween Book Club

At Tween Book Club, you’ll discuss books, make crafts, enjoy snacks, and have fun! Kids ages 8 to 12 can read any book with a different theme each month; this January, they’ll read any book set in a different country.

Texas Radio Live – Copper Chief and Shea Abshier
Wednesday, January 16 | from 6 to 8 p.m. | Guero’s Oak Garden, 1412 S. Congress Ave.

Each week, Sun Radio presents the latest and greatest Texas singers, songwriters and musicians while also paying tribute to the myriad of Texas musicians who have gone before us. Texas Radio Live at Guero’s Taco Bar’s Oak Garden is a weekly fundraiser every Wednesday night that supports the Sun Radio Foundation.This live radio show is broadcast across Central Texas on the Sun Radio Network and streamed worldwide at SunRadio.com.

Audio Book Club

Night Hike (Lockhart)

Ever wondered who uses the park after the sun goes down? Join to listen to owl calls, search for creepy crawlies, and embark on a hike to discover nocturnal animals and how they survive! All ages welcome. Dress for the weather (sturdy shoes and layers recommended). Bring a flashlight, if desired. Registration not required. Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under).

The Blind Side Free Outdoor Screening

Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village.
Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening. Explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks from the Community Grille. Burgers, french fries, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cards and cash accepted!). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated.
