Texas Wildlife Day
Wednesday, December 26 | from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Texas Memorial Museum, 2400 Trinity St.
Celebrate everything feathered, furred, smooth, and scaled at Texas Memorial Museum! FREE admission and FREE family-friendly activities hosted by UT Austin scientists, TMM science educators, and members of local chapters of Texas Master Naturalists. Museum exhibits open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the activities run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Bow Wow Reading with Roo the Dog
Wednesday, December 26 | from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. | Little Walnut Creek Branch, APL, 835 W. Rundberg Ln.
Certified Austin Dog Alliance volunteer teams with trained therapy dogs will be waiting for kids to read stories to them. This program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog. Open to children of all reading levels.

Mozart’s Annual Light Show
Wednesday, December 26 | from 6 to 11 p.m. |
Mozart’s Coffee Roasters, 3825 Lake Austin Blvd.
The 9th Annual Joyous Mozart’s Christmas Light Show is here and better than ever! This year is an on-going experience with over one million LED lights, a giant coffee mug, and more. New this year is the Cobalt Blue Piano that will be played by pianist all season long. They also have a German Market in the parking lot serving warm treats as you walk in. Whether you’ve been before or not, this is the year to add the Mozart’s Light Show to your calendar!
