  1. Anderson Terrace Pumpkin Patch
    Friday through Sunday, September 28 through 30 | from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. | Anderson Terrace, 11505 Anderson Mill Rd.
    The Anderson Terrace Pumpkin Patch opens, with a full month of fun through October 31. Free to pose with the pumpkins and props for a photo. Pumpkin prices start as low as $2 with corn stalks and hay bales for sale, also. Fun for kids and furbabies. Visit anytime and enjoy a number of fun & free family-friendly activities.
  2. Dougherty Arts Center 40 Year Anniversary Gala
    Friday, September 28 | from 5 to 10 p.m.| Dougherty Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Rd.
    The Dougherty Arts Center wants to thank the Austin community for 40 years! Join in the fun and celebrate with DAC family and friends. The evening will begin with all ages, family friendly fun including a Synth Petting Zoo, giant spirographs, selfie stations and music by Feedback Alliance and Midnight Butterfly. Stick around after 7 p.m. and enjoy small bites, drinks and music by DJ CASS&RA. This event is free.
  3. Ready Player One Free Outdoor Screening with Q&A
    Friday, September 28 | from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. | The Community Cinema at Community First! Village, 9301 Hog Eye Rd.
    Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village.Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening where we’ll be joined by novelist and screenwriter Ernie Cline who wrote the novel and screenplay for READY PLAYER ONE. Get there early to explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks. Hot dogs, milkshakes, popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase (cash preferred). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated.
  4. Fall Fair at Palm Valley Lutheran Church (Round Rock)
    Saturday, September 29 | from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. | Palm Valley Lutheran Church, 2500 E. Palm Valley Blvd.
    The community is invited to this free event for live music, a classic car and bike show, games for all ages, crafts, baked goods/plant sales, concessions, a magician and more! In lieu of admission, donations of non-perishable food items for the Round Rock Serving Center will be accepted.
  5. Life Kids Fall Festival
    Saturday, September 29 | from 3 to 9 p.m. | LifeAustin Ampitheater, 8901 W. Hwy. 71
    Join for a family event to celebrate entering into the fall! The LifeKids Festival is such a fun experience! A wide selection of food trucks, free carnival rides, bounce houses, college football, and so much more.
  6. NORTHSIDE Amplified
    Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30 | from 3 to 8 p.m. | Domain Northside, Rock Rose Ave.
    Celebrate NORTHSIDE AMPLIFIED at Domain NORTHSIDE on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30. NORTHSIDE AMPLIFIED is back in its second year for one big weekend celebration full of live music and fun. Domain NORTHSIDE will host several different bands and activations Saturday and Sunday on the NORTHSIDE Lawn. The event is FREE and open to the public. There will also be activation stations supporting I Live Here, I Give Here. Please note all stores will remain open during NORTHSIDE Amplified and parking will be open in all lots.
  7. Saturday Night Concert Series (Bee Cave)
    Saturday, September 29 | from 7 to 9 p.m. | Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd., Bee Cave
    Hill Country Galleria is hosting their signature Saturday Night Concert Series every Saturday in September and continuing into October with music starting at 7 p.m. in the Central Plaza. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy this free event with family and friends. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to lounge on the grassy lawn during the show and arrive early to shop and dine at Hill Country Galleria retailers and even get their meal delivered straight to the Central Plaza. Sun Radio 100.1FM will be on-site to emcee the event to introduce guests to the band. The September 22 performer is Nakia.
  8. Austin Startup Week Youth Entrepreneurship Day
    Sunday, September 30 | from 1 to 3 p.m. | Capitol Factory, 701 Brazos St.
    Bring the family for an afternoon of FREE learning and fun! The Youth Entrepreneurship Track will bring kids, students, parents, and organizations together for a day of learning and fun. Adults will have an opportunity to learn about youth entrepreneurship education opportunities in Austin while the kids are engaged in entrepreneurial learning activities! Learn and participate in activities and you’ll have a chance to win prizes including T-shirts, stickers, and even a free week of summer camp!
  9. Fortlandia Opening Weekend
    Sunday, September 30 | from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, 4801 La Crosse Ave.
    Your secret hideout awaits … and your wait is over! Join us for a magical weekend and escape into the Texas Arboretum for the first look at our much-anticipated Fortlandia exhibition. Sure to delight all ages, we invite you to interact with the forts, hang out and have a picnic near your favorite, bring your sketchbook and even create/construct your own fort in our Fort Build area!
    Complimentary tours will be offered all weekend and no registration is required. Meet in the Courtyard for tours beginning at the following times (both Saturday and Sunday):
    11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. The exhibition is included with regular admission: $12 for adults, $6 for ages 5 -17, FREE for children 4 and under.
  10. Indoor Outdoor Cinema: Clue
    Sunday, September 30 | from 7 to 9:30 p.m. | The Austin Winery, 440 St. Elmo Rd. E., Ste. A-1
    MRS. PEACOCK WAS A MAN! Come sip wine, enjoy movie snacks, and try and keep up with the wittiness of this cult classic. They will be clearing out all of the tables and chairs so you can bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the film on the projector. Event is free.

  • Harvest of Fall Fun (Marble Falls)
    Friday through Sunday, September 28 through 30 | from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday | Sweet Berry Farm, 1801 FM 1980, Marble Falls
    Open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Closed all Wednesdays. Parking is FREE. The pumpkins and gourds are individually priced. Admission is FREE, but each activity has a fee. Activities include a hayride, corn maze, and pumpkin painting just to name a few. Payment by cash or check only. Check the website for exact directions as GPS isn’t always accurate for this location.
