  1. Evenings Out National Donut Day
    Friday, June 7 | from 6 to 8 p.m. | Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, 1800 Congress Ave.
    Join this National Donut Day and celebrate the occasion with delicious treats from Gourdoughs Donuts, pub trivia from Who Wants a Dollar and tours of the exhibit WWI America, on view at the Museum. In between trivia rounds, players can enjoy complimentary food, drinks and tours.
  2. TV Under the Stars

    ATX TV Festival is so excited to present TV Under the Stars, this year’s iteration of our annual Outdoor Screening & Music Showcase at the Hotel San José on Friday, June 7!     Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village. Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening. Explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks from the Community Grille. Burgers, french fries, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cards only, cash no longer accepted). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated.
  4. Movies in the EastAquaman
    Friday, June 7 | dusk | Bryant Park, 7804 Skytree Dr.
    Bring your friends and family to Bryant Park the first Friday of every month, plus two bonus nights in June and July, for Movies in The East! Movies will start at dusk.
  5. 12th Annual Taste of North Austin
    Saturday, June 8 | from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | The Domain North, Corner of Agave Lane and Century Oaks Terrace
    Clear the calendar for the culinary event of the summer! Restaurants from The Domain and North Austin are teaming up for Taste of North Austin on Saturday, June 8.  Taking place on Century Oaks Terrace between Macy’s and Neiman Marcus, the 12th annual all-day family food festival will feature delectable tastes, beverage sampling, free live music, children’s entertainment, and of course, fabulous shopping. Guests opting for the limited-availability VIP experience will receive a goody bag, complimentary drinks and access to the VIP lounge. Aromas of the various cuisines will fill the Domain’s open-air corridor, enticing guests to sample fares from local restaurants.
  6. Family Saturdays: Tape Lanterns

  7. APA! Kitten Shower

    Come to APA!’s Kitten Shower for the Neonatal Kitten Nursery and see how this amazing program saves the lives of the most fragile and helpless rescued kittens.   8. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World Free Outdoor Screening

  9. Kids Yoga
    Sunday, June 9 | from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. | Well’s Branch Community Library
    A free yoga class, recommended for ages 5-10, all levels. Second Saturdays at 10:15 a.m. at the Wells Branch Library. Bring a yoga mat or towel. A limited number of yoga mats will be provided.
  10. The Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park
    Sunday, June 9 | from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. | The Long Center for the Performing Arts, 701 W. Riverside Dr.
    Kids frolicking, couples lounging on blankets, old friends in their trusty folding chairs, lone bicyclists and pedestrians who have been distracted from their destinations—all united by the sound of music. The Hartman Foundation “Concerts in the Park,” presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, brings together ardent enthusiasts and unwitting attendees alike just as similar events did in town centers years ago. In its 17th summer season, these free ensemble concerts take place in the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace and run on Sunday evenings from June 2 through August 25 (except July 7) 7:30 p.m. A gift from the Hartman Family Foundation, these concerts are presented to the Austin community in thanks for its continued, generous support. Each Sunday a different ensemble of the Austin Symphony will be featured at the new Hartman Park, located on the grounds of the Long Center for the Performing Arts, performing music from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket and make it a group outing.
