- Hidden Figures Screening

Hidden Figures (PG) is a story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. All ages welcome. Watch and discover family friendly films at the Austin Public Library while enjoying a snack.

Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village.
Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening. Explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks from the Community Grille. Burgers, french fries, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cards and cash accepted!). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated.

It will feature a variety of activities and stations, including a teddy bear clinic, so be sure to bring your favorite teddy for a check-up! When students have the opportunity to meet an author or hear them speak in person, we see a much higher independent reading rate. This FREE EVENT is a graphic novel and comic convention aimed at offering teens, kids, and educators the chance to interact with popular authors and illustrators, participate in workshops, and showcase their creativity. We have a fantastic line-up of authors and workshop presenters, and students will have the opportunity to enter the art contest and cosplay contest.

Join to learn the basics of prehistoric hunting with an atlatl! Before the bow and arrow, Native Americans hunted with the atlatl and dart. - Saccharine Sundays With Honey Son

An evening of music in the vein of lo-fi/soul/R&B. Honey Son is a solo performance by Mars Wright, whose live set involves a toolkit of instruments, loopers, samplers, synths, and effects to craft sound and scenery that compliment sweet, syrupy vocals. FREE!
