There’s Still Time to Volunteer for It’s My Park Day

Listen to this post with Alexa!

The biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, is happening on Saturday, March 7. Join thousands of volunteers who will be working to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city.

In Fall 2019, there were over 3,000 volunteers working on nearly 100 projects across Austin. These park lovers invested significant labor hours into Austin’s parks saving the under-funded Parks & Recreation Department time and money!

The City of Austin has temporarily banned public gatherings. Please stay home. The Free Fun in Austin calendar is only for live digital events at this time.

It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday enjoying the fresh air, mingling with your neighbors, and bonding as a family. Plus, you’ll be doing good and who doesn’t want to do a little good right now?
