The Hill Country Science Mill in Johnson City is hosting a free, three-day Teachers’ Day Out event August 5-7, 2015, when K-12 educators can visit for free!
To gain free admission, show your employee ID at the admission desk. If you don’t have an employee ID badge, please bring a pay stub or another form of employment ID or communication from your school. Homeschool teachers can get IDs from Texas Home School Coalition (THSC), THE, or HSLDA. Don’t have any of those? Show the Science Mill a picture of your classroom, or be creative!
The Science Mill is a nonprofit, and field trips are a major part of the Mill’s mission to ignite the curiosity, ambition, innovation and problem-solving potential of the next generation through an innovative, immersive experience. Stop by the Field Trip Info Sessions during Teachers’ Day Out, held at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Visit the website for field trip information.
Teachers are also invited to register online for a chance to win 4 free passes and $100 in our Science Store. Entries must be received by July 31, 2015.
