On Sunday, February 22, 2015, Chabad of Austin invites you to celebrate and explore the Jewish holiday of Purim. From 2-6 p.m., Austin families can enjoy a Suess-tastic Purim Carnival, benefiting the Hebrew Preparatory School!
The City of Austin has temporarily banned public gatherings. Please stay home. The Free Fun in Austin calendar is only for live digital events at this time.
Admission for adults and infants is free. For $5, kids age 2 and up can enjoy unlimited carnival games, activities and prizes.
Games will include a bounce house, crafts (truffela bookmark, Horton ears, Dr. Seuss wall art, ooblick, seussical instruments), Butter Battle Toss, Feed Horton, and 1 Fish 2 Fish fishing. Activities include a Suessical Purim Shpiel (play) at 4 p.m., a photo booth, and a Mulberry Street Costume Parade at 4:30 p.m.
