Admission: Free (fees apply for Walnut Creek Pool)
Hours: Open daily from 5 am to 10 pm

Trails: The park boasts an impressive 15 miles of wandering trails. Visitors will find that there are more than enough trails and paths tucked into the park to explore a different area on every visit. The trails are not paved, so they are not stroller friendly. Picnic Areas: There is 1 sheltered picnic area which can be reserved, 26 picnic tables, and 6 barbecue pits available. More information about reserving the picnic area can be found here.
Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park offers families in Austin a chance to get into nature, go swimming, or enjoy a number of recreational activities all within a few miles of downtown Austin.
