About The Golf School:
The Golf School was founded by PGA member Aaron Bergman and Jaret Lane. The two have built from their widely acclaimed Golf in Schools program in the Austin-area, and created a home base for golfers of all ages to come and improve their swing.
The Golf School utilizes SkyTrak simulators for real-life, accurate ball flight measurements. Swing speed, ball speed, launch angle and side spin are calculated on every swing. The Golf School will offer golf lessons for both adults and juniors, as well as group classes, camps and parties. The Golf School team’s experience with helping golfers of every level will make the Golf School the premier place for golf game improvement in Austin.
About Golf School co-founder Aaron Bergman:
Aaron Bergman knows a lot about teaching golf to children. After earning his Golf Management Degree from New Mexico State University, he traveled to the Kingdom of Bhutan to work for the Bhutan Youth Golf Association as a golf coach to local children. There he toured the country, introducing the game and teaching life skills to children. His work left an indelible mark on the country, and quickly caught the eye of the monarchy. He was soon befriending and giving lessons to the royal family, and his golf training with the Prince of Bhutan became well known. He has also taught golf in Nepal, Singapore and Thailand, as well as in New York and Chicago, and co-founded the Golf in Schools program with Jaret Lane. Bergman was recently featured in the July 2015 issue of Golf Range Magazine.
About Golf School co-founder Jaret Lane:
Jaret was introduced to the game of golf as soon as he was able to walk. Growing up playing the windy courses of West Texas, he developed a passion for the game that thrives today. Jaret believes that golf teaches valuable lessons and is committed to expanding the game’s reach. A standout tournament player in high school, Jaret took his skills to New Mexico State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Professional Golf Management program. In college Jaret competed heavily in the program’s min-tour events and earned a reputation as one of the PGM’s top players.
