About Summer Camp at Max Martial Arts

Packed with martial arts, dodgeball, nerf gun wars and so much more, kids at the Max Martial Arts Academy summer camp will expand their minds and build character while having a fantastic time. Each day will consist of practicing martial arts and engaging in fun games and activities—and no uniforms or previous martial arts experience are required. Kids will learn the newest kicks, combinations, Jumpkick acrobatic skills, weapons, and forms. They can even take Hyper weapons training (or choose to play with LEGOS while others train). They’ll also learn all about what it takes to become a High Performance Athlete in life through mastering how to BE AWESOME!

Max Martial Arts Taekwondo Summer Camp | Free Fun in AustinCamp is divided into a variety of martial arts-inspired activities:

  • Incredible martial arts training
  • Art projects including film and photo shoots
  • Cool kicks, acrobatics, tricks, forms training, Hyper weapons training and virtual training
  • Team-building with new friends, including performance games, fun with instructors, and team battles, contests, and challenges complete with certificates
  • Leadership development, including team experiences and character training in qualities like dedication, perseverance, innovation, respect, excellence, and inspiration
  • Daily Bully Awareness training
  • Free time, including reading, worksheets, art projects and, occasional G/PG-rated movies
  • Padded weapons and sparring drills
  • Off-campus field trips such as swimming, movies, bowling, and more

Children should bring a sack lunch, snacks, and water bottle/drinks each day, and wear clothes they can be active in.

Max Martial Arts Summer Camp Dates, Times, Location, Prices, and Fees

Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 5–30 and again from July 10 through August 18, 2017. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are also available at $20/hour. Camp tuition is $200 per week, with a $100 non-refundable deposit required, plus the cost of events (varies per week).

Maximum Martial Arts Academy is located in north-central Austin, near the corner of Airport Blvd and Lamar Blvd (map).

Sample Weekly Camp Events and Fees:

Week 1, June 5–9: Be Awesome Camp (Total cost of tuition + fees = $289)
Monday 6/5: Mt Playmore ($15.00; includes arcade games/no tickets)
Tuesday 6/6: Northwest or Deep Eddy Pool + Sno-Cone ($4.00)
Wednesday 6/7: Alamo Theater ($6.00; popcorn included)
Thursday 6/8: Northwest or Deep Eddy Pool + Sno-Cone ($4.00)
Friday 6/9: Six Flags ($60.00 plus food & souvenir money)
