Garden to Glass: Seasonal Drink Workshop With Author Emily Han
The Austin Public Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program is proud to present Garden to Glass, a workshop with author Emily Han. At this after-hours event, you’ll discover how to make garden-fresh drinks using fruits, flowers and herbs from your backyard, farmers’ market, or CSA box. This event is alcohol-free, so you’ll learn the secrets to creating amazing mocktails for everyone to enjoy (with tips for anyone who wants to use booze later). Books will be available for sale, or you’re welcome to bring any copies you already own to be signed.
Free Fun In Austin continues to highlight Austin area locations and activities that may not be available at this time. We encourage you to take all safety measures to keep yourself and your neighbors safe. It is our hope that the stories and features on this site will help inform your plans in the future.
A Boutonnière and corsage making workshop will also be offered with local, seasonal flowers courtesy of Austin’s own Prickly Pair Farm!
This is an adults only event, so please leave the kids at home!
