To kick off the new school year, Austin Bat Cave (ABC) is announcing its inaugural Buzzed Spelling Bee for Adults, a fundraising event to benefit ABC’s writing programs . Spectators can cheer on the spellers and support ABC’s mission for a suggested donation of $5. Local writer and radio personality Kelly Stocker will serve as Queen Bee (mistress of ceremonies). This event is open to the public. All donations and raffle proceeds will go to support ABC’S free writing programs for kids.
