Thirds x Esperos Soho Holiday Pop Up Launch Party
To celebrate its one year anniversary, Thirds has partnered with Esperos SoHo to launch a month-long pop-up shop starting on November 1st. Celebrate the collaboration on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with holiday inspired bevvies by Deep Eddy Vodka, sweets by Baked By Amy’s, and watch (and eat along) as foodie extraordinaire Natalie Paramore teaches us how to create an easy but beautiful hummus spread, perfect for any party! Austin-based artist, Mila Sketch, won Oskar Blues Brewery’s first-ever CANvas CANpaign. Her design will be featured on one million cans of clean drinking water, which will be distributed post-disaster in partnership with Ball Corporation and Oskar Blues Brewery. Geraldine’s Second “Birdday” Party
Named after famous former Rainey Street resident Geraldine the guinea fowl, Austin’s favorite contemporary eatery is celebrating their second anniversary with a special “birdday” party on Friday at 9 p.m. The FREE celebration will feature individual sets and the first ever duet set from acclaimed Austin musicians Jackie Venson and Jai Malano. Guests who attend the bash will receive a “Live at Geraldine’s” mixtape, featuring live recordings of the top performances over the past two years, and a sweet treat created by Executive Pastry Chef Yolanda Diaz.

Mozart’s Christmas Light Show
Visitors to Mozart’s Coffee Roasters’ annual Christmas light extravaganza will get a new immersive, interactive experience surrounded by more than one million LED lights. Make sure to have your camera ready as photos and videos of the display will light up your Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook pages. The FREE show runs every evening from November 17 through January 1 (except for Thanksgiving and Christmas day) from 6 to 11 p.m.

The Surreal Jungle: A Neon Event by Ion Art
Ion Art and ArtSeen Alliance are hosting an interactive experience from 7 p.m. to midnight, celebrating over 100 years of NEON! This FREE, one of a kind exhibit, takes you on a walk through the Neon Jungle, discovering plants, animals, figures, and hidden treasures. End at the Great Pyramid and be sacrificed on the altar of art. Hops for HOPE Art & Beer Show
The 11th Annual HOPE Art Show is happening Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. Highlighting the 2017 contributing artists to HOPE Events & HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) Campaign, the lineup of musicians, food and drink vendors, and art activations includes Brandon Boyd, Austin Beerworks, DJ Madcoins, Tamale Addiction, and Rodeo Austin. This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department. Event is not free (tickets are $15 – 20), however 100% of donations support 2017 HOPE Projects: HOPE Outdoor Gallery – Relocation Youth Arts, HOPE Farmers Market, HOPE Night Market, HOPE for Senegal and HOPE Adopt-A-Wall Program.

4th Tap into ATXMusic: A Music and Comedy Benefit Show to support Kids in a New Groove
This holiday season a local brewery, music tech start-up, three bands, and four comedians are coming together to raise awareness for Kids in a New Groove (KING). KING makes it possible for kids in foster care to receive music mentorship; one mentor and the magic of music can change the course of a child’s life forever. Prizes provided by Alamo Drafthouse, Esther Follies, Drinks Lounge, Cuvee Coffee Bar, Stroop Club, Tried & True Barbershop & Tattoo, and more to be auctioned off during the event. In addition, 4th Tap Brewing Co-op will be donating $1 of every beer sold directly to KING.
