The dog days are upon us so Austin Parks Foundation has partnered with Texas Rowing Center to host Dog Days every Thursday from July 26 to August 23! 50% of proceeds from each day will go back to Austin Parks Foundation, so head out on the water with your pup while also giving back to Austin’s parks. There are a limited number of doggy life vests available, so bring your own if you have one!

Landmark’s Guided Tour

August is Austin’s hottest month. Escape the blistering summer temperatures and join Landmarks for a docent-led tour of art in Bass Concert Hall on loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The collection features striking examples of postwar and contemporary sculpture from influential artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz and Ursula von Rydingsvard. Meet at 10 a.m. in front of Bass Concert Hall near 23rd Street and Robert Dedman Drive on The University of Texas at Austin campus. Free and open to the public. Tours are held rain or shine; please dress accordingly.

Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park
Sunday, August 5 | from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. | Long Center, 701 W. Riverside Dr.
These free ensemble concerts take place at the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace, and each Sunday a different ensemble of the ASO will be featured. A variety of music will be performed, from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket and make it a group outing.
