Join for Summer Sunset Series 2019, presented by Topo Chico and sponsored by Outdoor Voices, in Republic Square. An hour vinyasa flow led by a Wanderlust Yoga Austin instructor and accompanied by a live musician or DJ. We hope to build a connection through the activation of yoga, music and community. This free event will be open to the public and catered to all levels of yoga experience. Every Tuesday this summer.

Retro Video Games

EVERY Wednesday evening, Guild of Geeks (https://www.guildofgeeks.net/) & Sauce Odyssey invite all gamers for a bracket-style N64 tourney on the big screen. Join Austin City Limits Radio in celebrating 26 years of ACL Radio’s Unplugged at the Grove with free live music every Thursday evening at the iconic Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road! Georgetown’s Music in the Square Summer Concert Series

Music on the Square, a free summer concert series, returns to “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” in Georgetown, just 25 miles north of Austin. These family-friendly, live music shows run Friday nights from June through August, with the exception of June 7, July 5, and August 2. There’s music for everyone including the Wilson String Band playing country rockabilly, Megatune playing reggae & Motown, Mike Hamilton playing saxophone jazz, and Lexxi Garza performing 80’s & 90’s covers.

A Star Is Born Free Outdoor Screening w/ Live Music

Mobile Loaves & Fishes invites you to a free movie night at our Community First! Village. Grab chairs and a blanket, bring family and friends, and enjoy this special screening. Austin musician Tyler Stuckey will perform a live musical set before the movie begins! Come explore Community First! Village, pick your spot, and enjoy your favorite movie snacks from the Community Grille. Burgers, french fries, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cards only, cash no longer accepted). The event is free, however a $5 donation would be highly appreciated. Donations can be made via donation bucket at the venue.

Market Eatery Festival

The first installment of what will be an annually recurring event, the Market Eatery Festival offers a full immersion into the North Austin’s cultural and culinary mecca! Attendees can feast on tons of free food samples as well as discounted specials from HMART’s food hall vendors. Thirsty guests can enjoy 79 cent cans of Sapporo Premium Light beer and discounts on Soju and Korean wines. Those looking to shop can also enjoy exclusive discounts on select Korean Beauty products. The festival will feature face painting, balloon twisting and themed Nail Art from Nails Y’all as well as a raffle benefitting Kids in a New Groove. Tickets are 1 for $5 and 3 for $12 and prizes include a Dimchae Refrigerator, KuHAUS Premium Slow Juicer more. Participants must be present to win. This event is FREE, family-friendly and open to the public. Food samples will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Food and drink specials as well as shopping discounts will run all day.

The Artisan Mercado© sells locally-crafted, fine jewelry, glassware, ceramics, and  tapestry pillows; Mexican, Colombian and African dresses, handbags and crafts; and Honduran, Mexican  and Texan paintings, prints and mixed media. Bring water balloons, a water cannon, laser-seeking water grenades, a truck with a freakin’ water tank and hose, or whatever you’ve got! It’s going to be a soakin’ good time all over again. Be sure to invite your friends, but please be responsible and safe. We don’t want any issues of people being unsafe because it reduces the chances we’ll be allowed to keep bringing this to you year after year! Once again, we’re looking for an awesome time, but we don’t want to be mean or disruptive. No squirting unarmed people or passing cars, and please respect any police presence at the event.

The Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park

Kids frolicking, couples lounging on blankets, old friends in their trusty folding chairs, lone bicyclists and pedestrians who have been distracted from their destinations—all united by the sound of music. The Hartman Foundation “Concerts in the Park,” presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, brings together ardent enthusiasts and unwitting attendees alike just as similar events did in town centers years ago. In its 17th summer season, these free ensemble concerts take place in the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace and run on Sunday evenings from June 2nd through August 25th (except July 7th) 7:30 p.m. A gift from the Hartman Family Foundation, these concerts are presented to the Austin community in thanks for its continued, generous support. Each Sunday a different ensemble of the Austin Symphony will be featured at the new Hartman Park, located on the grounds of the Long Center for the Performing Arts, performing music from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket and make it a group outing.
