Ladies Night at the Hill Country Galleria
Tuesday, July 23 | from 5 to 9 p.m. | Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd.
A night of beauty, shopping, happy hours and more, Hill Country Galleria is hosting Ladies Night Out Tuesday, July 23 from 5pm to 9pm. This event starts at Lure by Y&F where guests can check in to receive their “stroll map” detailing all of the special offers available to them throughout the evening. The first 50 ladies that check-in will receive a VIP swag bag that includes an accessory from H&M, a workout pass, beauty products, Waterways Magazine, and more! Everyone who attends the event will receive a complimentary beverage from Shiner while supplies last. Enter to win giveaways like a private shopping event at fab’rik austin, a leather clutch from Lanai at the Galleria, and more. Kendra Scott will have a pop-up shop to try on jewels, snap photos, and enjoy complimentary cocktails. Kendra Scott will be giving back 15% of all sales to the Bee Cave Arts Foundation. This event is free and open to the public. Ladies Night Out will return one more time this summer August 27.

Summer Sunset Series

Join for Summer Sunset Series 2019, presented by Topo Chico and sponsored by Outdoor Voices, in Republic Square. An hour vinyasa flow led by a Wanderlust Yoga Austin instructor and accompanied by a live musician or DJ. We hope to build a connection through the activation of yoga, music and community. This free event will be open to the public and catered to all levels of yoga experience. Every Tuesday this summer.

Summer Slasher Series at the Secret Bar

National Tequila Day at Guero’s Oak Garden

Austin, we’re teaming up with Dulce Vida Tequila on Wednesday, July 24 to celebrate National Tequila Day! We’ll be in the Oak Garden from 6 to 8 p.m. with margs, music, and more – catch Dulce Vida sharing their love, passion, and knowledge of their product. The Vida Rita—a popular crowd pleaser—will be the featured margarita for the evening and will be served in the Oak Garden. Sun Radio will be there with live performances by Craig Marshall and The Cuckoos. Packed Party will also be there giving away an amazing variety of swag for the first 20 people to stop by their table and follow them on Instagram/FB!

Unplugged at the Grove

Join Austin City Limits Radio in celebrating 26 years of ACL Radio’s Unplugged at the Grove with free live music every Thursday evening at the iconic Shady Grove on Barton Springs Road! It’s 23 consecutive weeks of the best live music, food, and fun you’ll experience under the clear, warm skies of Austin, Texas, with absolutely no cover charge! All ages are welcome to attend, and folks 21+ can enjoy $4 Ziegenbocks. The live music kicks off at 8 p.m.

Watch an acrobatic hurricane of birds as hundreds of thousands of Purple Martins “swirl” in the skies in and around the roosting site each evening. It’s better than the bats! Binoculars are optional. Georgetown’s Music in the Square Summer Concert Series

Music on the Square, a free summer concert series, returns to “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” in Georgetown, just 25 miles north of Austin. These family-friendly, live music shows run Friday nights from June through August, with the exception of June 7, July 5, and August 2. There’s music for everyone including the Wilson String Band playing country rockabilly, Megatune playing reggae & Motown, Mike Hamilton playing saxophone jazz, and Lexxi Garza performing 80’s & 90’s covers.

Lady Bird Day

Hach year on Lady Bird Day, the Wildflower Center honors our namesake and founder and all that she did for our nation’s treasured environment. We invite the community to celebrate Mrs. Johnson’s environmental legacy and the legislation that she inspired. With her influence, President Johnson’s administration enacted more than 200 environmental laws with lasting national and local impact, including the 1965 Highway Beautification Act. Free.

The Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park
Sunday, July 28 | from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. | Long Center for the Performing Arts, 701 W Riverside

Kids frolicking, couples lounging on blankets, old friends in their trusty folding chairs, lone bicyclists and pedestrians who have been distracted from their destinations—all united by the sound of music. The Hartman Foundation “Concerts in the Park,” presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, brings together ardent enthusiasts and unwitting attendees alike just as similar events did in town centers years ago. In its 17th summer season, these free ensemble concerts take place in the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace and run on Sunday evenings from June 2nd through August 25th (except July 7th) 7:30 p.m. A gift from the Hartman Family Foundation, these concerts are presented to the Austin community in thanks for its continued, generous support. Each Sunday a different ensemble of the Austin Symphony will be featured at the new Hartman Park, located on the grounds of the Long Center for the Performing Arts, performing music from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket and make it a group outing.
