Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival

The Austin and Bee Cave communities are invited to celebrate America’s freedom at Hill Country Galleria’s annual Independence Day Festival. The event includes fair rides and games for the whole family, live music by Austin’sSchool of Rock, Eve & The Exiles, The Derailers, KP & The Boom Boom and Vallejo, face painting and more for the kids, an art fair with 75 arts, crafts, and visual artisan vendor booths, barbecue, festival food, and a spectacular fireworks show to end the evening. Guests are also welcome to dine in or order from the Galleria’s restaurant and food options, and are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy live music beginning at 4 p.m. on the Central Plaza lawn. Kids can also cool off and enjoy the splash pad, adjacent to the Central Plaza lawn. The event is produced in partnership with Special Events Live, the group behind Austin’s beloved Pecan Street Festival. Pets are welcome, and admission and parking are free.

Georgetown’s Music in the Square Summer Concert Series

Music on the Square, a free summer concert series, returns to “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” in Georgetown, just 25 miles north of Austin.
