July will be the R&B/Neo-Soul Showcase featuring local favorites Huggy & The Feel Goodz and Eimaral Sol! This event  is free and open to the public but a donation of $7 is suggested.

Oh those summer nights! In partnership with the Alamo Drafthouse and Do512, grab your friends and family and experience the cool vibes of Sound & Cinema on the Long Center’s front lawn—live and local music combined with classic movies and cult films projected onto the Drafthouse’s giant, inflatable outdoor screen. For each event, food trucks will open at 6 p.m., music begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by the film screening after sunset.

The global Kate Bush experience is coming to Austin for the first time. The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever! will be happening in Zilker Park, at the Polo Picnic Grounds. You are invited to put on a red dress, and join in recreating the iconic video to Kate Bush’s classic song. Inspired by the 2013 group Shambush, over 20 cities around the globe now participate in this event. 2018 is a particularly special year, being the 40th anniversary of the release of Wuthering Heights. Event is free and open to the public. FIFA World Cup Final Watch Party

The FIFA World Cup Final is Sunday and Austin has an exclusive invitation from Coca-Cola to view and celebrate the largest sporting event in the world.  This will be the biggest FIFA World Cup Final Watch Party in Texas, and it will be held at the 1,500 acre Circuit of the Americas (COTA), just outside downtown. Attendees will enjoy a fun-filled day of tailgate games, live DJ, food, beverages, prizes, guest appearances and multiple screens broadcasting the game, all kicking off at 8 a.m. In addition, Coca-Cola will host a day of pick-up soccer matches and an exclusive Q&A with a special guest. All of this will take place on COTA’s Grand Plaza lawn, nestled in between Turn 15 & Turn 19 of the world-class 3.4 mile raceway.

Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park

These free ensemble concerts take place at the Hartman Concert Park in front of the Long Center City Terrace, and each Sunday a different ensemble of the ASO will be featured. A variety of music will be performed, from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket and make it a group outing.
