Every Tuesday night The Michael Hale Trio and Mac Mcintosh brings BrotherMac Church to Rainey Street. Be ready to dance to your favorite blues and jazz tunes while enjoying craft cocktails including the BrotherMac Signature Cocktail from the mixologists at Half Step Bar. This has been called by many the best place to be on Tuesday nights in Austin.

The weekly ride for queer folk & allies! THE EVERYONE RIDE! Gather at the south gates of the Capitol on 11th St. facing Congress at 7:00pm. Wheels down at 7:30 p.m. PITSTOP: Cosmic Coffee, 121 Pickle Road.
DESTINATION: Cheer Up Charlies, 900 Red River Street.

Line Dancing Class (Lockhart)
Thursday, January 16 | from 7 to 8 p.m. | Lockhart State Park, 2012 State Park Road, Lockhart
Don’t miss the music and fun in this family-friendly dance class! All ages and abilities welcome. Join at Lockhart State Park for a lesson in country-style line dancing! Class is suitable for beginners and all ages. Wear your dancing shoes and bring water. No registration required. Class will be held inside the park Recreation Hall. Class is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under. If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station to check in.
New Year, New Artists

Join PrintAustin in celebrating its 7th annual juried international exhibition, The Contemporary Print, presented in collaboration with Big Medium. The Contemporary Print is a survey of traditional printmaking techniques and innovative approaches in contemporary printmaking. Our 2020 exhibition was juried by Claudia Zapata.
The Drinking, Smoking, Gambling Show

Camp Gladiator Free Boot Camp

Come out on Saturdays at 9 a.m. for a free community workout with Camp Gladiator! This boot camp type workout will take place on the Central Plaza lawn and is open to anyone over the age of 14 ! It’s recommended to bring water, a towel, and yoga mat to make the workout more enjoyable. Sweat it out at this free event!
Dolly Parton Birthday Party

The Tigress is having a tribute party to our favorite Queen of Country! They will be playing Dolly Parton movies along with a dedicated playlist to the Nashville superstar. MLK Day March and Community Celebration
Monday, January 20 | from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.| See Map Here
The Annual Community March celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy while uplifting diversity and multi-culturalism in our city. All businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals are invited to march and celebrate Dr. King’s legacy. The MLK Community March kicks off at 9 a.m.with a short program at the MLK Statue on the University of Texas campus. At the conclusion of the program at the MLK Statue, you will march to the south steps of the Capitol for a rally. After the Capitol program, the march will proceed to the historic Huston-Tillotson University, where exciting activities are planned. The MLK Community Festival kicks off at 11:15 a.m. and will last until 3:30 p.m.
