“Mrs. Glass is like throwing a fit and setting your lover’s car on fire. He plays seated because, lordy, he couldn’t sing and strum any harder if he tried. It’s simple, it’s straightforward, but you’ve never heard music move like this. Live, he is electric, and those who follow him around town would follow him to the ends of the earth.” Lee K. – Scout Network Blog. Catch the songman himself at the Blackheart. FREE show starts with John Branch Trio at 10:30 p.m. and Mrs. Glass headlining at midnight. The Blackheart, 86 Rainey St, Austin.

Growing up in a small and rural, Texas town, Summer Dean was lucky enough to be blessed with a family deeply rooted in music. It was this kind of upbringing that gives her a distinctly thoughtful approach to writing music: the raw lyrics, bare-boned and honest voice, the approachable confidence you see on stage, as well as her sultry timelessness. The FREE show starts at 4:00 p.m. The AGBG, 1305 W Oltorf St, Austin.
Join H&G for a celebration of art, comedy, and music presented by Independent Artists Musicians United and Maintaining Artist Self Sufficiency.
