Parents, this one’s special. We are lucky enough to have a family four-pack of tickets to see the brand new children’s theatre production of “Wake Up, Brother Bear!” at ZACH North, and you won’t want to miss this.
Free Fun In Austin continues to highlight Austin area locations and activities that may not be available at this time. We encourage you to take all safety measures to keep yourself and your neighbors safe. It is our hope that the stories and features on this site will help inform your plans in the future.
“Wake Up, Brother Bear!” is a story of a brother and sister bear who experience a whole year’s worth of seasons for the first time. They watch a waterfall melt; they skate on an icy pond; they chase fish and meet butterflies, singing and dancing all the way.
This production, geared toward audiences ages 6 and under, will enchant your kids in a way that few shows can. Using music, art, and hands-on sensory experiences, “Wake Up, Brother Bear!” will connect your kids to literature by igniting their imaginations. Check out this preview video for an idea of what your kiddos are in for…
If you want to turbocharge that learning experience, you’ll also want to know about ZACH North’s upcoming open house featuring sample classes for children ages 1-4 and a showing of “Wake Up, Brother Bear!” That is happening on November 4th, but RSVPs are required so make sure to send in your info!
“Wake Up, Brother Bear!” starts October 16 and runs through April 2 at ZACH North. Our family four-pack of tickets are good for the first week of shows only, and we’re drawing a winner on the 16th by noon, so better get to entering, y’all!
