It’s back! Presented by 93.3 KGSR, enjoy FREE live music for 24 consecutive weeks at the iconic Shady Grove for one of Austin’s longest running free concert series. There’s still no cover charge for the best music, food, and fun you’ll experience under the clear, warm skies of Austin! St. Genevieve, Union Venture Group’s upscale wine lounge on Rock Rose, is celebrating its anniversary from 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Guests can enjoy a FREE dessert bar, a champagne fountain with the purchase of a $10 champagne glass, and live music entertainment from Mark Klentzman. St. Genevieve is an upscale wine lounge that features frequent DJ sets and shared plates with cuisines from all over the world. This FREE show is hosted by the improv comedy/horror act Camp sLaughter and features an all-star cast of improvisers being thrown together and forced to play with each other for first time. Tightrope is expanding to include written, stand-up, and fringe performances in addition to the top-notch improvisation, now including opportunities for writers to test out new material, for improv teams and individual improvisers to play, and for experimental acts to have a home for 7 minutes. Drop by and say “Hello” to a new visual arts and music hub on East Sixth St. Volcom Garden will feature 25 local Austin artists including work by Tim Kerr, curated by skate-art legend Michael Sieben. Starting at 6:00 p.m., global skate, surf, snow, and lifestyle brand Volcom will formally launch the Volcom Garden – a retail store, music venue and art gallery space. The art gallery features an Austin-based lineup, curated by skate-art legend and local Austin artist, Michael Sieben. There’s an outdoor mural by Austin artist Mike Shine. The evening will include live DJ sets, complimentary beverages, art gallery viewing, and a musical performance by Austin garage/grunge trio Residual Kid. FREE and open to the public.
