The Founders Day Festival is held in the newly revitalized historic district in downtown Dripping Springs on Mercer Street. Mercer Street is parallel to the City’s major thoroughfare, Highway 290 West, just a block north off Ranch Road 12. If you head west on Hwy 290 from Austin, you won’t miss it!

Two paid parking lots are operated by private vendors during Founders Day weekend. One is located at Hwy 290 and RR 12 on the Northeast corner. The other parking is located on Old Fitzhugh Road. Enter Old Fitzhugh Road off of Ranch Road 12 North and drive toward festival. Signage for the parking area will be close to the festival and the parking area is on the right-hand side. Please note that Old Fitzhugh Road is barricaded for thru traffic during the festival and you may only enter at the North end off of RR 12.
