Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 10.49.43 AMThe eleventh annual Texas Community Music Festival (TCMF) will be held April 15-24, 2016 at Central Market North. The free festival will feature a diverse lineup of musical groups, ranging from single performers to ensembles of 70 pieces or more. Genres will include classical/symphonic, jazz, swing, Dixieland, world music, bluegrass, Americana, blues, funk, soul, R&B, and even polka!

While all performances are family-friendly, this year’s festival will also include entertainment for young children! Ms. Kat will be performing a children’s set on Saturday, April 23rd at 10:30 a.m. that is sure to be a hit with the littles.

Texas Community Music Festival

The 10-day festival is hosted by the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble, Austin’s oldest community band, and is sponsored by H-E-B and Central Market North.

Friday, April 15th – Sunday, April 24th:

  • Weekends 10:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Weeknights 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
